What Baskets shows
Insights looks at the last 90 days of receipts and finds pairs of items that are bought together more often than chance, for example tea and sugar.
Use it for ideas: place the pair on nearby shelves, make a bundle, or remind staff to offer the second item.
Reading the table
- Open Insights → Baskets.
- Bought together names the two items and their SKUs.
- Receipts is how many receipts had both items.
- Of all receipts is the share of all receipts that had both items.
- Lift shows how much more often the pair is bought together than if the items were unrelated. Lift 3× means three times more often.
Why the list may be empty
Pairs appear only when enough receipts contain two or more different items. A pair needs at least three receipts, at least 0.5 % of all receipts, and a lift above 1.2. Shops with mostly single-item sales may see few pairs.
Also bought on the till
When items are in the cart, the till can show up to four Also bought suggestions under the cart. They are the items most often bought with what is already in the cart.
The cashier taps a suggestion to add it to the cart. Only items the till can sell are offered.
The suggestions need an internet connection. When the till is offline, or there are no pairs yet, nothing is shown and selling works as normal.
