What it is
The daily digest is a one-page morning summary of the previous business day. It is written by the nightly refresh. Today it is shown in the app only.
Open it from Insights → Daily digest, or from "open this morning's digest" on the Overview.
Reading the digest
- The latest digest opens first. To see an earlier one, choose it under Day at the top.
- Sales on (day): total sales and the number of receipts, compared with the usual for that weekday. For example "+12 % vs the usual" means 12 % more than a normal day of the same weekday in recent weeks.
- Cash & payables: your cash and bank position, Payables due in 7 days and Overdue. Postings pending appears when some business events are not yet in the books.
- To reorder: how many items to reorder, the sales at risk, and the top three lines with quantity and days of cover.
- Slow & dead stock: the money tied up, and how many items are slow or dead.
- Loss-prevention alerts: yesterday's alerts with the cashier, the kind and whether they are still open.

Each card has a link to the full screen: All sales, Finance reports, Replenish, Stock health and Review.
The line at the bottom shows when the digest was generated.
When there is no digest
A new company sees "No digest yet". The first digest is written by the next nightly refresh, or when someone presses Refresh now on the Overview.
"No earlier weeks to compare with yet" means there are no past sales on that weekday to compare with. "Finance has no postings yet" means the books have no entries so far.
