Change the language
Sevo is available in English, සිංහල (Sinhala) and தமிழ் (Tamil).
- In the top bar of the back office, open the language menu (the button showing the current language).
- Choose English, සිංහල or தமிழ்.
- The screen changes at once. There is nothing to save.
The register's own menu has a language choice too, so a cashier can use the till in Sinhala or Tamil while the manager uses English.
Your language follows you
When you change the language in the back office, it is saved on your profile. If you sign in on another device, Sevo opens in your language there too, until you choose a different one on that device.
Some texts are typed in by you, such as product names and your receipt footer. They are shown as you typed them, whatever the language setting.
Dark and light theme
Sevo opens in the dark theme. It is easy on the eyes in a shop and saves battery on many tablets. Some people prefer the light theme in bright daylight.
- In the top bar, press the sun or moon button next to the language menu.
- The button's label says what it does: "Switch to light mode" or "Switch to dark mode".
- Press it again to go back.
