The Sale complete screen
After Complete sale, the till shows the amount paid (or the change to give), the receipt number, the total and the payments, with the receipt beside it exactly as it will print.
Receipt numbers are built from the register code, the shift number and a running number, for example R01-0003-0012.
The receipt shows your company name and details, the tax, a QR code with Scan for your e-receipt, and the customer's name if one is on the sale.
Print or save
- Tap Print to print on the receipt printer.
- Tap PDF to open a PDF copy made by the server. If it is not ready yet, the button says PDF not ready - retry; tap it again after a moment.
Send the e-receipt
Every sale has its own e-receipt web link, even when the sale was made offline. The customer can also scan the QR code on the paper receipt to open it.
- Tap Send receipt.
- Tap WhatsApp. If the customer on the sale has a phone number, WhatsApp opens a message to that number; otherwise you choose the chat.
- Or tap Copy link to copy the address, or Share… to use the device's own share menu (on devices that have one).
E-mail the receipt
The customer can have the receipt by e-mail: the whole receipt in the message, with a link to the e-receipt where it can also be saved as a PDF. It is written in the language the till is showing, and comes from your business name.
The sale must have reached the server first. If the till is offline or the sale has not synced yet, the till says so; try again once everything is sent.
- Tap Send receipt, then E-mail receipt.
- Type the customer's e-mail address. If the customer on the sale has one saved, it is filled in.
- Tap Send e-mail. If the address is not a valid e-mail address, the till says so under the field and sends nothing.
- A message confirms the receipt was e-mailed. If sending failed, the reason is shown with Try again.
Earlier receipts can be e-mailed from the back office too: POS → Sales, open the sale and press E-mail receipt. The sale shows when, and to whom, its receipt was last e-mailed.
Start the next sale
Tap New order (or press Enter) to serve the next customer.
In the register menu under This device, After payment sets whether the till waits for you (Wait) or starts the next order by itself after 5 or 10 seconds. Touching the screen or pressing a key stops the countdown. Receipt paper sets 80 mm or 58 mm to match your printer.
Reprint an earlier receipt
- Tap the Orders button in the top bar (or press F9).
- Find the sale under Completed today. You can search by receipt number or customer.
- Tap Reprint. The receipt opens with Print, PDF and Send receipt.
- Tap Back to orders when you are done.
